Thats quite an old issue actually it has to do with the mmstyle itself like the theme your using back in the old days that might happen on the x86 version of a theme or the x64 one we used to have to do 2 versions of themes for each to cure that bug now the msstyles of today have had those issues addressed my guess is your using an old msstyle see if the theme maker has one specific for x86 and x64 versions and grab the one for ur os :)

Thanks Razorsedge,

clear as crystal, i don't know if that theme is x64(yeah i'm using 64 bit), there is a possibility to know/convert(doubtfully, but i ask anyway....)

Otherwise i start from scratch using a original base aero. msstyle.

So if my theme created on 64 bit machine can not work properly on 32 bit one?

Thanks guys, your help is appreciated, the forum globally is fantastic!

Hi Bud :)

Honestly I can't even remember what used to cause that problem cause it was so long ago that was an issue, I am trying to remember what it was but for the life of me I can't remember lmao

these days themes created like one theme works on both os's no problem that issue you have was a prob back when win 7 first came out and themes were being made for it in the beginning I wish I could remember the cause but as I say it's been so long I don't remember what the issue was lol

Ok I have the answer for u lol

I had to ask Grim cause I could not remember why this issue arises when u change images in the msstyle using restorator instead of wsb thats the answer to the trick question if you import the images into the msstyle using wsb u wont get that issue :)

Sorry just looking at this thread again, when you make your own folder and so on are you including the shell folder with the msstyles file?

If you want you could upload the msstyles and we could have a better look at it and see if we can replicate the problem and give you the solution.

(http://alex2312.altervista.org/My Theme.rar)LINK REMOVED, PROBLEM SOLVED!

Thanks for your help guys,

above is the theme, inside there are two png to describe the issue, one folder with black glass enhanced, another with my theme.

It is entirely created with Wsb, not changed images with restorator as far as i can remember.
On my PC is working great(replacing a msstyle on a existing theme), but i want to share it to, so please help.

Thanks in advance guys, hope you find the issue, othervise i have to create it back from original aero this time:shocked::worried:

have a nice night

Sorry mate have not been on much this weekend, I looked at it and I found that you did not have a shell folder with the shellstyle.dll in it that must be in the same folder as the msstyles, after adding that the theme works as it should.
