View Full Version : Need help with window explorer font color!

Hi guys!
I'm trying to change the font colors in window explorer the ones here "i'll link to one of the image in a topic"

FIRST PIC

Number 5 is what i'm trying to change...so i change the Window text color in WSB and all seems good when i test it but not when i save it and load it.The window text color doesnt seem to affect the fonts i'm trying to change.

I saw someone change it by messing with the shellstyle.dll? in a topic...i'm pretty new to all of this so dont get too technical! hehe
I have windows style builder and ressource hacker.

this is the location u want bud Explorer & Shell > Explorer > Items View > ItemsView: text color

As i see this part is only when selecting an area with the mouse...and it works well..the problem i have is when nothing is selected the color that is displayed is not the same as "window text" where it says i should be able to choose the color in "window text"
Number 5 on the pic at both areas.

Is there any way u could send me the msstyle that way I could have a look at it and try and see what issue u might be having :)

try Fonts, Colors & System Metrics > WINDOWTEXT:COLOR
