Im about to purchase a killer deal on a 1500 dollar laptop. Probably stolen. but i will refuse to believe that. The person Im purchasing the laptop says there brother past away and he's selling me his laptop. Really cheap. But its got a password on it and they dont know it. How do I get around this. I would like to do this wile im purchasing it so I know I dont have any issues later.

ONE MAN ARMY (http://virtualcustoms.net/member.php/186281-ONE-MAN-ARMY), personally i would just wipe it, including any recovery partition. i would then install the os i like, and my apps. i just redid a dell precision m65 from xp because of a proprietary wifi drive to win 7 ultimate. i have to tell you it was one of the sweetest installs i have ever done. do a fresh install you avoid all the crapware that is probably on there from toshiba.
