i am not sure if it is just me, but the boot updater app is not working for me. it will not boot up at all, it asks me if i want to allow it and i then click yes and nothing happens. i cant seem to get it to work

check your firewall to make sure its not blocking it,then try again.if this dont work then try downloading a new copy from here bro..

Try Disabling User Account Control Settings. and Right Click and run as Administrator. I use this bootupdater all the time . Have not seen any problems yet. If that does not work let me know!

All-so if in the past have you used any other type of boot changer from other theme sits ?

@OMA i have literally tried everything with disabling and running as admin DX

@peter.pan this is the first time i have tried to change the boot screen

if it helps, i tried running it while i had the task manager up and it showed up in there for 2 secs and disappeared. does me having x64 have anything to do with it?

Hi if its the portable version then it dosent mater whether you have 32 or 64bit.did you turn off your anti virus ?
You can try restarting your computer in safe mode and running the boot skin loader....BUT make a restore point first :Peace:

is your system patched? if not you will have to download a universal theme patcher and path your system files. are you using x32 or x64 bit windows? make sure you down load the right patcher for the right verision of windows. also this and all me themes are x64 bit so im not responsible if it wont work on x32 bit windows. after patching files the go to c:\windows\resources\themes file and drag and drop the theme file and the msstyle file to there,close and on your desktop right click and hit personalize,look for theme and install..

What is it your having trouble with. If your having trouble installing the theme please make sure you patch your system to be able to apply 3rd party themes. and you also will need to install Theme Resource Changer. These 2 steps must be done before you can install this theme. If you need any help please send me a PM and I will be glad to further assist you.
