Installing Modded System32 Files in Win 8?

I did a quick google and forum search and found info for win 7 x64, but even then I found contradictory information using the take ownership hack on the system32 folder. Can any one point me to a program or tutorial for replacing the system32 files so I can use those from the Equinox Beta 1 Theme?
