Could anyone explain why Cyberfox 18.0.2 is always opening a port UDP to jalopnik(dot)kinja(dot)com

hi mate never heard of that site before sounds like something you installed or a site you have visited has hijacked your browser.

i would run full scans also check control panel programs and features for any toolbars or analytics engines like conduit or price gong.
run anti-sypware\anti-malware scanners also check your temp directory's like appdata, programdata ect.
make sure anti-virus is upto date or if it is then remove it and get a better one.
also try running the hijackthis tool then see the results also post on there site for then to Annalise

also run an app like glarys clean your registry and use the feature to restore and remove hijacked urls from the browsers.

unfortunately i cant offer any more help then that other then back up files and format then clean install everything due that that has nothing to do with Cyberfox

This would come from something you installed or an rss feed you accepted as the site you mention is a news site I have browsed in the past.
