I know that the white yah seeing in thah background is probably caused by your windows color settings.I dont have windows 8,but in windows 7 the same happened to me.I just went to right click desktop/personalize/window color/advanced appearance settings and changed the "3D object" color settings in the drop down list of "items" in the box that appears.Worked for me,but i no nothing bout windows 8.I am assuming though thats the problem with the white background in the run command box im seeing there.as far as the rest,im sure there is someone else here who knows how to fix.

Is no wonder why i never went to windows 8..lol.however,you can change the colors through the registry in windows 8 just as yah can in 7.But i would rather not suggest that if yah not computer savy or maybe someone else here has ah different solution before trying the registry.But this is where in the registry yah can find it.Its the same for vista,7 and 8..62217

again,before attempting to mess with the registry,back it up first,in case you make ah mistake.messing with the registry can be dangerous and render your computer useless if yah make ah mistake.Take every precaution nescassary.

guess im gonnah have to read up on windows 8 in case it ever comes down to it that i have to switch to it..lol.just by loooking at it,i despise it..lol

I agree. I personally like Win8 miles above Win7. Going back to Win7 from Win8 is like going back to WinXP from Win7.
Sure, it has some bugs, but they all do. Also, I'm not into all the glowing and glassy themes.....I like themes that are crisp, although I do like dark ones.
I don't have WSB installed, so I can't help you with that location......The guy who made the theme you are running probably could though.
