Just wondering if any members use nVidias GeForce Experience ? (it checks your system and nVidia site for updates) and found my GPU driver was out of date, the app can download and install, I have always been a bit weary of auto up daters but this only deals with nVidia and seems to work well also its free

Or would you say its just another useless app ?

My GC is nVidia also---and my computer an HP that didn't come shipped with the card; I installed it later. GeForce Experience always tells me that since my card is is a 210, it can't optimize me for gaming. I'll get a better one soon though....or start building my own machine.
If your GC is nVidia, that updater is what you need.

That's a nice one! I'd keep that driver-updater installed, and check it every month or two.:kaioken:

I have been using it since the closed beta and its great tho i manually update my drivers the program is great for optimizing games gfx settings

the reason i manually update my drivers is some drivers have drops in fps that impact some games really bad and also that i choose custom install and don't install nvidia update due to how there update system works.

they create a admin user account on your system just like your user account tho it only serves for updates and is not actually full user profile i just didnt like this method.

overall its a top app with one click optimize per game.

This is a wonderful app, It has optimized my games now they run more smoothly than before. It automatically configures your game settings based on the GC you have. but it's still got some bugs, it wont read some of my games. don't know why!

just download and install the standard drivers, no need for a additional program. i allow as little as i can get away with to auto-update. on top of that anything that keeps track of programs is a no no. it's one thing to have say something like "your uninstaller" or "secunia" and have them set to do their check manually. plus why add another service if you don't have to.

yeah been that its still in open beta they are still adding games to the list and adjusting the detection code to better be-able to detect games installed in your system like origin, steam, uplay and games that dont require and game client. its a great tool if your a gamer.
