Good Morning,

I can't see reference to my problem, so here goes. Windows 7, 64 bit. I have Cyberfox 20 newest download running fine but for one thing. It does not show in the Windows Default Programs. I have set it in Cyberfox Options as default but it will not stay assigned as default.

I have it installed on another Windows 7 64bit computer and do not have this problem. But from the time I first installed Cyberfox on this machine in January of 2013 I have not been able to use it as the default browser.

Any help? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Thanks but that is the list it is not in. And Microsoft doesn't have a search option in that list to hunt for the Cyberfox installation.

I am thinking that for some reason the Cyberfox installation is not writing a Registry entry but I have not checked in the Registry for that.

A Registry cleaning was to be my next move. I can also do a manual cleaning in the Registry as I am fine with that. And I do have CCleaner on here. I will post back later and let you know if it worked.

Thanks again.

OK, problem solved. I selected Nightly and that somehow put Cyberfox into the Default Programs list. I then made it default.

call me stupid but that sounds like a pc issue not cyberfox, you should allways be able to go to the open with dropdown list choose a default program. At the bottom if something is not there, choose another and get a browse opportunity where you can search the computer and go to any exe.file anywhere.
