What is this problem?

I'm currently using Windows 8. I had The mechanism icon pack installed. I also patch my system to use third party theme. After installing the Windows update, the computer will not let me go in. After running the boot screen, it does not turn in the log in screen? So where is the problem? The icon pack or the theme patching?

the problem is probably with windows 8 try booting in safemode and doing system file checker cmd prompt as admin type sfc /scannow

if your unable to boot into safe mode put in your installation media for windows 8 and use shift+10 to bring up the cmd prompt and type it there.
alternatively if you have a windows PE disk you can run that and do system file checker also.


it obviously has an issue with one of the installed files that was patch or modified or files were corrupted during the update.
