Does anyone know of any image resizing software that will batch re size pictures (Desktop Wallpaper) to popular screen resolutions.

I know there are tons of image re sizing programs out there but none that I can find will do what I want, I work with desktop wallpapers for all sorts of different screen resolutions and right at the moment I am doing this in Photoshop, one picture and one resolution at a time, this can be quite tedious work, especially these days with so many different screen resolutions.
What I am looking for is an image re sizing program that I can load one picture into, choose multiple resolutions and have the software spit out the same picture in multiple resolutions. Plain, simple and nothing fancy, software that will just save me tons of time.

I would prefer something that is free or in the worst case a fully functional trial for testing before purchasing.

Thanks in advance

That would be really great, then there would be no need to download yet another program

If this can be done please let me know.

I am taking one image and resizing to different sizes, mainly popular screen resolutions for Desktops, laptops , phones and IPads and such.

I used to use Paint Shop Pro a LOOONG time ago, I think the last version I used was 6 or 7, still have it in a box somewhere, don't even know if it'll run on Windows 7, once I got used to Photoshop I never went back to Paint Shop Pro.

Photoshop

Create an action
Then goto automate/batch

these usually are called macro's
you can make many different ones there are even action scripts available all over the web Photoshops batch processing is by far the best and fastest.

if you have photoshop then watch this video it will show you how to make an action and use batch processing http://virtualcustoms.net/showthread.php/39679-Batch-Convert-Icon-Batch-Convert-In-Photoshop
