ummm,i seem to have this problem which only started today with this site.I have this url for virtual customs book marked and when i click on it,it brings me to this other site which you see in the screenshot. It say's that the domain has expired.I cleared my history in chrome and it still did the same.I then just typed it into google, click the url and it still did it.A couple of time it came out of it,but for some reason it keeps going back to it.This is the same url i have always used.Figured i should mention this as i might not be able to get back in again.Any suggestions?

ok.I have did multiple scans using malwarebytes, malwarebytes antiroot killer,TDSSKiller, and hijackthis.Found nothing.I did a scan because usually "redirects" spells malware or rootkits..etc..I could understand if this has ALWAYS been happening, but it just started today as i have always had the same url bookmarked.I have checked the "chrome:config:",and the "chrome:conflicts" and found nothing.I have cleaned out my history also.Im stumped :(

seems the domain has expired, I did have it set to auto renew but it looks like they haven't done it, I am trying to get hold of my current host to see if I can transfer the domain name over to them.

I haven't had any problems yet but I know the last time I let it expire I kept getting that problem, here is my support ticket from the last time, maybe it will help you.

Hi there,

If you and your friends are using the same ISP or the same DNS servers on the reverse lookup, you may be seeing a cached copy of the records where the registrar had expired it for a period of time prior to the renewal.

Can you check using Google DNS as your Internet connection DNS servers?

http://code.google.com/speed/public-dns/docs/using.html#setup

You can repeat the steps from reply 1 after setting these as your Internet connection DNS servers and it should show it working for you.

Best Regards

Hi there,

You can remove them if you so wish and use your ISP provided DNS servers for name resolution, it was just so you could check to see if that (DNS caching by your ISP) was the issue.

lol.that was my first assumption was that i got banned for no apparent reason and they did it silently.I couldnt imagine that i did anything wrong. And i dont even drink..ha ha.then i noticed that every once in a while i could get back in.so thanx to Mr Grimm and following some of the suggestions in his post,i was able to get in every time without a problem.what i dont understand is why it would only be this particular site.If there was ah problem with my dns, wouldnt it effect all sites?
