Transparent Orb Problem

Ok, I have a problem with my start orb being transparent for some reason and my system is patched and I did use 7tsp to change it but it still comes up transparent. Also when you move the cursor over it few a second the there's a black square around the orb.

How can I fix this problem?

and you are using transparent PNG image start orb no bmp,if yes,then you can go to your windows theme directory
c/windows/resources/themes/your theme/explorer.exe and copy,paste here 3x the same png file,then rename this file to number 6801,6805 and 6809
change theme to windows default and then use back your custom theme,thats all,best very easy step :Smile:

Monica I did what you said to do and no change the orb is still transparent. I am using a bitmap file for it.

but this start orb is not transparent,have black background,because this is bmp and no png image
only all png images is transparent

Its weird that your getting it to work right but , mine is still like this is the pictures below.

you probably installed a third party software to change your orb, like "startorb changer" or "startorbz." maybe the settings that u have on there is affecting your orb so you could try removing it if you have one installed

Don't have them installed but I did figure it out last night. I took my orbs that I made and went into photoshop saved them again as a png file and replaced them in the theme again. I then changed themes for second and then went back to my HUD theme. After that they were fine.

That is odd. Mine actually showed up transparent as well when I was using that button. I didn't really think much of it until now. To be honest I didn't know that it wasn't suppose to be transparent. Not sure what's actually causing that. Definitely a bit odd, though. :??
