-------[Description]-----------------------------------
TuneUp Utilities 2014 can make your Windows operating system more comfortable, faster and more secure with just a few mouse clicks. And all operations performed on the operating system are completely safe, because all changes are monitored by TuneUp Rescue Center and can be undone at any time. All TuneUp Utilities 2014 modules can be accessed through a common interface that is divided into six categories. The software helps both beginners and experts to make Windows meet their needs in a way that is better, easier and safer. All important system options are explained in an easy way and can be turned on or off at the click of your mouse. TuneUp Utilities 2014 will then make the necessary changes in the registry or boot files automatically. The most changes that you make can be undone in TuneUp Rescue Center – easily and safely.

The TuneUp Utilities 2014 Turbo Mode provides an immediate performance boost whenever you need it. When you use your computer in the TuneUp Turbo Mode, an analysis is performed to see which tasks, programs and functions are currently running in the background that are not strictly necessary. These programs are stopped or slowed down, allowing the additional processing power gained to be used exclusively by the programs you are actually running.

I use to use tuneup utilities a while back. However,it had one of those registry cleaners that caused more havoc then done good.Since then,i have learned alot about reg cleaners..basically.STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!..lol I have only found 2 reg cleaners that have never done any harm to my computer.ccleaner and auslogics boostspeed. As far as the rest of what tuneup had to offer,i loved it.It does have some decent tweaks and ah few other usual history cleaners and etc...since then however, for the last couple years i have stuck with auslogics. It has some nice tweaks of its own among other things.I use this combined with ccleaner.I use regscan from nirsoft to manually clean leftovers from my registry. They do an awesome job.I believe this tuneup is only a 15 day trial from the glimpse that i have seen.Thanx for sharing.

if i've said it once, i've said it a million times
tuneup utilities is not for the average user.
more times than noy people mess up their computers.
i've had to fix more that i care to think about because
of tuneup utilities. the only thing it's truly good for is
it's customization features.

Back in the day that is what it was used for and it was good. Today I wouldn't touch it.
Haven't used it since the real early XP days, don't know how it is since AVG took it over tho.......?

BTW, Moon, what is the name of the theme you are using in your screen caps?

I used to use it, never had any issues, no problems. But, since AVG now owns the company, I definitely wouldn't want it. I do have Iolo's System Mechanic Pro installed (because my father-in-law paid for a 3pc license all the way til 2016), and like it OK. But even that I have configured to not mess with my registry.
