help today I made updates windows 8
I'm using Hud beta for windows 8 and it's gone the written Hud side as shown.
I tried reinstalling the whole package Hud Mr Grim but is still without a side bar Hud x help please?

You needed theme resource changer.
i think max68 (http://virtualcustoms.net/member.php/227324-max68) are using theme resource changer
because all of the (explorerframe.dll) navigation buttons files have been replaced correctly
but if no,then you can try reinstall it manually

You needed theme resource changer.
So you are saying that using theme resource changer on windows 8 will work to
change the shell32.dll images for the control panel?
And there is no need to patch the Shell32 with a custom one then?

I will say this again, THEME RESOURCE CHANGER DOESN'T WORK ON WINDOWS 8 the navigation buttons are now from the msstyles, the start button can only be applied with Start Is Back, the navigation panes for the control panel can only be brought back using my Shell32.dll Details Pane patch for Windows 8, this patch also requires that you have one of my themes with the new images in the msstyles as well.

The latest Windows Update updated the shell32.dll so if it was patched then it will not be now, you will need to run the patch again and make sure you select the option to have themeable control panel navigation panes.

OK solved by uninstalling and reinstalling using ultra uxtheme patcher download
