I understand there might be a couple bugs if you don't install those extras, however, I'm just trying to install the theme as is and apparently, I have no idea how to patch it in.. I installed both ultra uxtheme patcher v2.3 and 2.2 and had no success with this theme.. Seems I need some help getting the basics down

First, since you already patch your system with ultrauxtheme patcher, select default windows 8.1 theme, then uninstal everything you install for themes. After that restart your pc, then follow the order of installing applications in my thread (do not install 2 ultrauxtheme application, you only need one). After you install everything, copy theme files to Resurses/theme dir and load it in your right click personalize section, hope this helps! :peace:

Here is a pic of it, thanksHmm looking at your picture i already see that you miss installing some important tools or you didnt config it correctly, in this case OldNewExplorer, get 1.0.7 version of it, also i think that your theme is running in basic mode, not in aero cause some part are not displayed properly like taskband and side panel images!

Thanks, however I pretty much gave up when the only fix was a total reformatting of my HDD and starting over from scratch.. I think I'd prefer not risk that again.. It literally killed the OS.. Got stuck in a boot loop and blinking screens.. Was a nightmare.. O.o

LOL... well it's normal thing for almost all customization people, who work with themes to experience what you experience now, that way you will learn faster how to properly customize your pc, eather way i will fix that bug you told me about and repack it here in next 2-3 days. :peace:

I'm going to actually jerry rig my old store bought Dell PC and push in an older HDD with my Win8.1 and see if I can get it going.. That way there's no risk to my main PC.. The old HDD might not be good though so no idea if it'll actually work.. I plan to eventually learn building PC's for extra income later down the road (way later) and would like to have experience with custom theming so that if someone wants a gamer PC I can really go all out with it and have every aspect of the PC customed :) I'll have to do some serious jerry rigging though with the old Dell O.o

--A helpful link to a thread or a posting here with the basics of patching themes would be very helpful to the newbies.. I found it rather confusing to figure out where to go to learn how to theme with the patcher ;)

I hear there's a new update (which is one I downloaded) that has essentially broken the AeroGlass and the others rendering them useless as well as killing your machine if you can't get past the DWM error pop-ups and uninstall it.. This may have been part of the issues I had when I had to reformat my computer.. Just a little heads up, I'm no the only one anymore with this sort of issue. There's a FB group I'm in with over 5,000 members and there's complaints about it on there too.. O.o

Update 1 for Win8.1 is required by Microsoft to continue to receive Windows Updates.. Just a reminder for those who may consider not installing Update 1 for fear of customization issues.. ;)

Many thanks for this great theme

It works on server2012R2 Standard with update. Also server2012R2 storage retail edition

Used winaeroglass as aeroglass did not give full theme for me but now all sorted.

Of all the issues I have seen on the internet .. this and "alienware eclipse" of "blade mr" are the best ever .. without any bug, or white part that sometimes shown in 90% of subjects 8.1 for Windows
great work guy
