Here's a lil bit of a dense moment for myself lol.............. as some of the themes have icons included into the them and download but some have them in other folders such as extras like this one.......... how do i install them into the theme itself (scratching head ;) )

Then icons in the folder inside of the PROMETHEUS extra icon folder........ are those for the docks and the theme icons are already included in the theme ?? plus if there is any other theme that doesnt have the icons included in it how do i go about installing them into the theme ?

In extras you can find usually only bonus icons for rocketdock aka dock icons. If you want to apply icons into your windows (like for folders, drivers etc.), i recomanded to use 7tsp iconpacks for windows 8/8.1 or 7, depends what windows you using, if you don't know about 7tsp application or 7tsp iconpacks, browse vc forum for tutorial or google it and you should be good to go! :Peace:

Looks like ima have to upgrade from win 8 pro to 8.1 now in order to enjoy the ported themes for 8.1.1 now ;)

Yes sir i saw that it does work properly on win 8 pro like side panels and ribbon area etc and icons and sounds etc etc lol so im revamping my lappy and refreshed and waiting on updates then i'll update to 8.1 but for some reason mine wouldnt update to 8.1 awhile back so now its a freah start and i'll see if it will update ;)

Just make sure you run windows default aero theme before updating your 8.1 OS! :Peace:

Thx mate i'll give it a whirl hell i've even gon thru HP asst on my cpu and thus far all drivers and software are up to date as far as i know but ima keep looking for a solution ;)

i think you have again one of yours bald moments mate, in general with windows 8/8.1/8.1.1 themes you don't need shell32.dll or explorerframe.dll folders, also shellbrd and system.dll images, cause you can all include them inside theme file, in this case, everything works ok with this import, please in future put a picture of your problem, it will be easier to work with and fix it! :Smile:

Cheers Lamia another quick question bro................ i'm learning how to make 7tsp icon packs and im wanting to use the app icons format in the prometheus extras folder and the icons there are with names on theme and not by the number as i've seen them in others,how do i go about doing it that way oppose to the way with the numbers etc etc,plus where do i find the ones such as c:/drive & d,e,f etc and folders to change those as well .......... Ok, i managed to solve the problem: In your lists and in your Tutorial you mention "UltraUXThemePatcher" , which didn't work for me; i started to google and stumbled upon "UXTheme Multi-Patcher", which, for some odd reason, works for me; looks like i'll have to stick to that in the future.
Anyway thanks for your fast reply :)
