To apply all icons from this theme you need application called 7tsp, you need to load 7tsp icon pack from this theme into application and apply it, if you are not so sure how to do that, take a look this tutorial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=llA4Lj-g8w0 :peace:

If this kind of errors appears after you apply some 7tsp iconpack, that means that iconpack is done wrong, so in your case you will need to eather system restore your OS or install new fresh OS!:Peace:

I love this look but i dont need the start menu and the aero look or the command bar. Do i really have to install the last 3 apps you mention?

Also i hear that UXTheme PAtcher, pathces 3 system dlls and may cause instabillity, cant i apply the theme another way?

This isn't working for me.
I installed UltraUXThemePatcher, setup-w8.1-1.4, OldNewExplorer, UxStyle - all are the newest versions for my system. The problem is when I click on 'flaty' in theme folder it simply changes colors, noting more...


EDIT. I managed this theme to work, sadly the tutorial linked above made more chaos and disorientation than help... So, there goes working tutorial:

First of all we need to instal: UltraUXThemePatcher, UxStyle, OldNewExplorer, 7tsp, filetypesman-x64 (for 64bit windows ver) and 7+ Taskbar Tweaker. Then when we install all of them, we copy everything from the 'Flaty Win 8.1\Theme' to C:\Windows\Resources\Themes. Next we use OldNewExplorer and check the 'use command bar instead of Ribbon'. Also we need to use two programs to change icons: 7stp - simple click 'add a custom pack and search the ZIP file with icon theme (Flaty Win 8.1\Extas\System icons), and filetypesman-x64 to change File Types icons. And this is probably all you need to know. We end our windows modding with 7+ Taskbar Tweaker in the groping and combining we check 'don't group' so we will have nice flat style in taskbar.

I gotta say this theme is totally awesome! Very good job indeed.
I do however have a little problem when installing it.. I have gotten most of it to work.. icons, taskbar and that. But the explorer windows are still like default. (white, boring, you know) How do i fix this?

Hi DrHeadcrash (http://virtualcustoms.net/member.php/312141-DrHeadcrash) OldNewExplorer is required for full themeing of the explorer and control panel windows, have you installed it and do you have your setting enabled like this

Well, isn't this all slightly embarrasing. It was my own fault for not thinking. I forgot to put the right content in the themes folder in the Windows directory. It all works now! But thanks for your help anyways.
