I made everything as shown in this video, and many others,
but dual boot Win 7 and Win 8 failed. I can install Win 8, but when restarting comp, I switch to Win 7, then back to win 8, asking me installation disk for win 8.
has anyone that has succeeded?

naw didnt work delete my windows 7

I expect the problem may be the secure/fast boot feature in Win8 as i remember reading this was the problem when trying to dual boot with a different os, how to correct this problem i can't help i'm afraid:unhappy:

Yeah windows 8 has UEFI and windows 7 EFI so dual boot with BIOS don't work.

But long time ago i got triple boot working windows 7 windows 8 and mac os x.

It does work, I currently have a Windows 7 machine that dual boots with Windows 8.1.1
You have to make sure that Windows 8 gets installed on a different drive altogether from Windows 7.

Note: If you do this just be aware that Windows 8 / 8.1 will be booted by default if you do not make a selection at the OS selection screen.
