Lamia it is a windowblinds theme the guy who made that does some crazy good work, if you look at the video that's from our mod here Moonique she uses a lot of windowblinds stuff as well as reg themes she has posted tons of WB stuff on the site. They just took the orig theme and desaturated the images and packed the wba theme back up that would take maybe 5 mins to do lol

can you get permission to port it to a standard theme, and how hard would it be since almost all the files should be about the same?

I never had a chance to work with window blinds themes to import them over, but i think it's not the same thing as importing 7 themes to 8 for sure mate!

The compilation of the files should be the same I would think but the thing is Window Blinds uses it's own .wbs file format for themes. I'm not sure, someone correct me if I am wrong but you need to have the Window Blinds program to assemble or disassemble the .wbs file.

If someone knows how to disassemble the .wbs file without Window Blinds I'd be glad to take a shot at it.

It's not that I am cheap or anything, I've just taken a solemn vow never to use or pay for anything Stardock. Their programs are resource hogs and their employees are a bunch of arrogant son's of you know what's, I'll never deal with them again. If anyone knows how to break the file apart I'd be happy to try and convert some Starcrap. :cunning:

Dark Knight (http://virtualcustoms.net/member.php/199178-Dark-Knight) well if they are packaging there files in proprietary formats then yeah i doubt there is anything out there other that the software they use to port them back to regular windows files. as for there programs i've had 50/50 luck with them. windowblinds i have always hated cause it's as bad as norton is on system resources. fences the way it sets itself to work is an out and out joke. now iconpackager and sound packager i have nothing but good things to say about them. guys i'll take a look around and see if maybe some pissed off windowblinds user created an app to port the files back to windows. i'll let you guys know one way or the other if i found anything.

The only way that i know of is by breaking up the .wba using winrar or something to extract the images, and then use stylebuilder or reshack to create an msstyle with the images that you extracted from the .wba theme.Doing it manually this way can very time consuming.other then that,i dont know of any other way

all taste different, I always use Windowblinds and I have never had a problem with them there are many good skins Windowblinds I use them for a long time so they do not have any problems that may affect the system but this is purely my opinion I have to eat at a small gallery DA (http://izod32.deviantart.com/gallery/) you can see that everything works fine
Windowblinds
iconpackager
cursorfx
67942
works fine

IZOD (http://virtualcustoms.net/member.php/212280-IZOD) while that does look great there still is the FACT that when 7 came out it took them forever to come up with a version of wb that worked with 7. to top that off they went out of their way to be rude to their customers by either never responding or making unwarranted comments to them.
