Here is a useful toolbar/addon for Firefox, with it you can scan files or websites with multiple anti virus products for free using Virustotal.com

sorry but in my book there is no justification to adding addon bars to a browser.

Dear friend,
I had given this a try sometime back. It's useful, but nevertheless, I had to take it off, as I like running my browser with minimum toolbar thickness on top and at the bottom. This program creates entries where the bookmarks toolbar is (I don't normally have a bookmarks toolbar), and this cannot be moved through the 'customize' option, nor are there any options under the add ons manager.
Regards,
AC
