Display Off

Anyone know of a script / regedit hack that would put a "Turn Display Off" into the right click context menu ?

Would make for an awesome time saver to right click and turn off display on a laptop. Don't know if it is possible, just throwing the idea out there ...

After a bit of searching I found just the thing.

Firstly there is a suspect version on just about every torrent site out there - personally I wouldn't touch it.

Its really easy and I've tested it with Windows 8.1 and it works a treat. Great for laptops :tu:

What you, or anyone else might find interesting also, is the command line program used from http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/nircmd.html

Then write your own reg, drop nircmd in system 32 and run the reg. Could be a very handy app ...
