View Full Version : Any way to stop theme from affecting certain programs?

My theme is affecting some of office and adobe, but not enough to69585 make them look right, how do I stop it from affecting a program in general?

Most dark themes will do that. The usual white is a shared color with other places in Windows(like explorer and control panel) so themers change it anyways.
You can quick edit the applied theme in control panel(Control Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Personalization\Window Color and Appearance then click on Advanced appearance settings), select 'Window' in the dropdown list and select the color you want, white. That will change the background color to white in Word, Notepad etc.

Im on 8.1, not seeing a way to change just the window, all I see is changing the border. Thanks for the response.

Oh Windows 8, unfortunately MS has removed the Advanced Appearance Settings from Win8. You can't tweak those settings anymore.

You can however edit the theme yourself or let ask the creator to make a light version.

You can also try out the program cybacreep has suggested.

Windows 8 is messed up..
