Drop them in /usr/share/icons. The same way you install any icons or cursors.

Awesome, thanks razorsedge (http://virtualcustoms.net/member.php/148478-razorsedge)
Do you mind sharing the tool you used to convert them? I'd like to port some cursors from VC themes but I have not been able to change file format from .cur to X11 cursor.

Hey bud no problem your most welcome :)

Also sure I use a couple of different apps to make cursors but the one that you can convert linux to windows or vice versa windows to linux is this app here http://www.rw-designer.com/cursor-maker

I have it posted on the site somewhere but I am too lazy to look up the post lmao

it's also a free app a very good cursor editor :)

after you install it on the left click the online icon, then in the middle of the page at the top click the plugin's tab. You will see the first plugin Linux XCursor codec on the right, click where it says install.

Once you install that codec you can export linux cursors to windows format just by opening the linux cursor in the app and selecting save as ani cursor file or static cursor file there are also other options to save as well.

You can also do vice versa open the windows cursor in the app and save as linux cursor file :) The site also has a great galley of cursors there as well I have grabbed quite a number off that site lol

Everything is working well after following your instructions.
Expect to see lots of ported cursor themes from VC soon. :Grim:

Yeah it's a great app. So easy to use to convert cursors too, when you have that Linux plugin.
At first I thought it was weird installing that plugin, but now it actually reminds me a bit of installing Firefox extensions.
It reminds me a bit of XnView as well for some reason, another nice image program lol
