Things I used in the preview
Aeroglass,Blackglass Enhanced,MooO Transparent Menu
MacType,Token Icons,Rainmeter and the font is Eurostile Extended

gsw953 (http://virtualcustoms.net/member.php/178470-gsw953) found a bug in winstep's workshelf. just went in to resources and created a shortcut on the desktop for the themes folder. dragged it to my default workshelf tab, but once dragged there it becomes the actually folder and removes everything except for the current theme you're running. had to take everything out of it and put it back in the themes folder in resources. i was already pissed with horge cheating people on this last winstep xtreme update, now just one more thing with him.

Eh, this would be great, but the top part is grey and I don't want to run a bunch of apps for just one theme. I just use a theme patcher, 7tsp and systemtransparency and I'm good.

wording is everything. it should of been "This is great, but.....". on another note you're not running a BUNCH of apps of JUST for one theme. other than mactype the APPS are use with ALL windows 10 themes. you really need to think about how you address those that are providing FREE content/themes.

I have always had problems with those menus on VLC,even on windows 7
I can make it so when you hover the black text is shown like this

or if you are not attached to using VLC desktop version try the VLC app from the Windows Store or maybe give GOM a try,the menus in it change with whatever windows theme you use

Thanks but I have used them in the past and I do not like them as the reconstruct the layout of the interface which makes it hard for me to find the menus I need. With stock vlc I know where everything is and its easy to find what I need but with skins I would have to start all over again.

I would only like to have black/dark skin colour and not reconstructive layout.

Ok version 2 will add the light hover highlight plus fix Winrar,I know what is wrong there.Title bar text is also working in version 2 now

just changed my winrar view ro detailed and yes it's the theme. i suggest you use list view. in winrar there really is no need for derailed view.

I am very sorry about this but please disregard my last post I by accident selected the wrong theme.
The screenshots above was not from this theme. They are from Mr. Grims theme.
I have switched back to yours now as it looked to wired to be your theme.

Not to be offtopic but while vlc player was once the best player it has fallen behind a good bit of late. I find smplayer to be much improved, have better themes and none of that stupid grayed out footage when it lags like vlc player has.

And the same goes for winrar. 7-zip can open any format of compression and while it cannot compress to rar it can compress to 7z which is a higher compression rate with less distortion so you are really far better off using it over winrar.

And both of those programs play nice with the win7 version of this theme.

7zip can compress to .rar just fine if you change the file extension name to it.

i cannot speak for smplayer on windows, but i did download it and test it in linux. as far as i can tell, it's the only out of box player that will play any video format thrown at it, so yes as vlc replacement it's great. now on 7-zip versus winrar in my case i will stick to winrar because of being able to add a recovery file for repairing the archive in case it gets damaged somehow. there is also the fact that with winrar there is nothing you can't run without having to extract the archive. now lets both get back on topic.

The highlight on words in the titlebar is very painful to look at. Is it possible to just change the color of the titlebar font? If not maybe you could just make it a bit less blinding of a highlight and that wouldn't be too bad either.

Speaking of highlights I noticed that the normal highlight color is the same as the background color which makes it impossible to tell if things are highlighted or not.

Other than those 2 issues it is perfect. Really a shame windows won't let us have black titlebars =[

I have moved on to Windows 10 fall update so this theme is obsolete
and I won't be doing any changes to it but feel free to modify it yourself
or have someone with the old version of Windows 10 do it for you.

Strange, my Windows build is 10240 and when I run an update check it says it is up to date. Can I still use your fall version or will it brick my system?

Edit: nvm it is a "feature" built into windows where the th2 update won't hit until 31 days after you upgrade to win10 in case you want to downgrade back to your previous version as the th2 update clears your downgrade spot.
