This is a full system Steampunk iPack with all your needs to have a full out Steampunk system.

Os Icons, Application Icons, Extras such as 7Zip theme, Winrar Theme and IDM Toolbar

There is 2 packs the Steampunk one has MUI edits that pots the preview pane at the top of the explorer window and the folderban ( toolbar ) at the bottom it also changes the windows animation colors also includes a photoviewer theme

The Second pack is the same as the one above without the MUI edits so it does not move the preview pane or the toolbar or change animation colors it does include the photoviewer skin.

The Steampunk extras are the 7Zip theme which requires 7Zip theme manager you can get that here http://www.7ztm.de/ A winrar theme and a theme for the IDM toolbar

lol thanks bud ya I am right into it myself now I love the look and world of steampunk, hell I am even loving the music take a look over in my theme section on windows 7 at the new steampunk theme I posted and have a listen to the vid I posted in there by Abney park they ROCK!! lol

Nice! If possible, can someone with proper permissions please make a Windows 10 port of this icon set? (Preferably one that uses an iPack installer) I would love to use it with the Windows 10 TH2 port of Crononaut.

I have modified the iPack to work with Windows 8/10, hopefully this is OK. All I did was remove some .res files that don't work on Windows 8/10. If there are .res files from the original iPack that anyone would like included, let me know and I will test it out and add it to the .exe.

How do I get 7zTM to apply the Steampunk 7-zip theme? I have it downloaded, and it claimed to have installed the theme, but there was no change. Do I have to place 7zTM into a specific folder first for it to actually work? If so where? I'm on Windows 10 TH2 if that helps any. Also, it couldn't find any of the files for the toolbars Steampunk theme.

I'm REALLY new to this...Tried everything I can and can not get my theme to look like this after install...Any chance you could kinda walk me through it? It is literally the ONLY theme I've seen that I like, and i friggin LOVE IT

Ok, so, here's what you need to do:

1. Create a system restore point before doing anything else [this one is kinda a no brainer tbh]
2. Download UltraUxThemePatcher from https://www.syssel.net/hoefs/software_uxtheme.php?lang=en and run it [i run it as admin just to be safe. though it might not be necessary to run it as admin]. You'll now need to restart your computer before doing anything else.
3. Download ThemeResourceChanger from http://virtualcustoms.net/showthread.php/31635-How-to-use-theme-resource-changer and install it [again i do this as admin for added measure, but also might not need to be run as admin]
4. Download the actual theme from http://virtualcustoms.net/showthread.php/70352-Chrononaut-A-Steampunk-Fantasy-Full-System-Theme/page3?p=308863#post308863 and copy the .theme file and folder included in the Chrononaut\Theme folder into c:\windows\resources\themes and then load the theme [don't forget to install the fonts included with the theme].
5. Download and install the icon pack linked in this thread [you may need to restart your computer afterwards].
6. Enjoy :Peace:

ok, for the fonts you'll need to right click them one at a time and click install. there's a faster way someone mentioned once but i don't remember what it was for windows 7.


and for the icon packs. pick one of them [you might prefer the one with the mui edits], and run it as admin. then just follow the prompts. Make sure that the option to create a restore point is enabled otherwise it won't back up you previous icons.

since you're on windows 10 1709 that's the closest version i know of.

Also, since you're on Windows 10, Theme Resource Changer is pretty much useless. So I would just uninstall that if you still have it.

As for fonts windows 10 lets you install them in batch by highlighting them all, then right clicking one while they're all highlighted and clicking install.
