Sorry but I don't even know what to call this "feature" to put in the thread title. I've been google searching for ages and all I keep getting is Aero Snap, which I downloaded a .reg file to disable, but it did nothing so I'm guessing its not Aero Snap.

If I right click and hold to move a window around on screen I get this annoying pop-up. How do I remove/stop this from happening?

Cheers :loving:

Honestly have no idea, I would suggest opening task manager and see if there is anything suspicious running and maybe try killing them or opening their folder location to see if you can figure it out, failing that if you have a system restore point then try doing that.

You could also run Malwarebytes https://www.malwarebytes.org/ or their Junkware Removal tool https://www.malwarebytes.org/junkwareremovaltool/

this "Popup" appears to me last year in a "test version of Windows 10" (as had many errors), I do not really remember how I solved at that time :S..., let me check aver if I find that solution.

So was your problem the same or was it something else? was "dell premiercolour" your issue or did it have to do with the windows snap?

You guys are fantastic!

Thank you thank you thank you :loving:

The laptop is the MSI GT72 Dominator Pro. It was the MSI True Color app that was the culprit.

Just for the record to anyone who might want to use this app. There is no setting to turn that "feature" off in the app itself. Just different screen modes to choose from .ie, Movies, office, sRGB and so on.

Only option was to uninstall the app itself, and no more annoting pop-up when moving winodows around the desktop.

Thank you so much, I spent a good couple of hours trying to figure what it was and got the answer here.

Beers on me! :loving:
