What's going on, VC community. .

I was actually browsing wallpapers for Windows 10 via google when I stumbled across this site, and decided to give it a go.

I'm not a big fan of Windows, but so far 10 has made me start to change my mind a bit, and I am now wanting to customize it a bit to my liking.
After looking around here, I realized this is exactly the community I was looking for.

Anyone have any directions, or advice on posts to read if I want to change my themes, or icon packs to look like some of the sexy designs i have seen here?

Hi and welcome.
First you need to know that customize Windows 10 is not click and then its all good.
You need to take a deep breath and the first thing you do is make a complete backup of your Windows partition.
Then i suggest you make a restore point also..

After that you just give it a go. Read some of the threads and get familiar with the problems there can be.
Make sure you have acces to VC if you brick your system, so you can ask for help.
The next thing is to make Windows 10 accept custom themes and that can be done with UxThemePatcher: http://cleodesktop.deviantart.com/art/Install-UXThemePatcher-Windows10-10586-104-572822614

Been looking at dhjohn's thread and was wondering why we sending people to cleodesktop at all? So i made a thread about it:

If you look carefully any theme of Mr Grim, you will see directions how to download uxstyle from the original site and no from cleodesktop. :p

Yea UxStyle, but not UxThemePatcher :Smile:

..and regarding UxStyle, i have had so many problems with the latest version, so i gave up and now im back on UxThemePatcher. (themes works with no problems and graphic card dont get disabled anymore)
