Here is the theme I'm using with the Anniversary Update.
I will be porting more of my themes shortly ,this one
was the easiest to port as I was working on it just before the update.

You will need Old New Explorer and
I'm currently using System Transparency for transparency
since I haven't had time to experiment with Areo Glass yet.

This theme is for Windows 10 Version 1607(Anniversary Update\Redstone)

InSiD (http://virtualcustoms.net/member.php/311760-InSiD) first welcome aboard. second lets ask parginos (http://virtualcustoms.net/member.php/294737-parginos) if he/she has installed custom themes before, before asking about various program settings. thanks

parginos (http://virtualcustoms.net/member.php/294737-parginos) and welcome to you too, now have you run custom themes on win 10?

gsw uses a program called system transparency for that. I am currently using AeroGlass and have noticed a few small issues with it on RS1. So I may temporarily switch to system transparency if it currently works better. But once you have system transparency set properly it should work fine.

953 (http://virtualcustoms.net/member.php/178470-gsw953) i found my copy FINALLY lol . worked out though, cause it forced me to rethink how i have themeing items organized. i have you theme up and running in vm now. in order uxstyle, theme bypasser, one, sib, dropped your theme in the themes folder and tested, worked perfect. then added and tweaked system transparency to my liking. have also tested one of grims black themes and perfect as well.

I love this theme, coolest ever! excellent work. Is it possible to change that it makes microsoft office black? Thanks for your hard work. You can make MS Office Black. It is not a result of a theme, but a registry edit. Unfortunately this registry edit reverts each time you close a MS Office program, so if you want MS Office Black Theme certain steps must be taken. I have a folder on my C drive called Customizations for many of the things I do with my Windows OS so the below codes are written for this folder. If you want what I am about to tell you in a different folder you must alter the paths. You need to make THREE files.

The first I call blacktheme.reg

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common]
"UI Theme"=dword:00000004
"PendingUITheme"=-

The second I call what ever the Office program I want to open, and you must do this for each and every Office program. For example let us use Word. So I call it Word.cmd

regedit.exe /S C:\Customizations\OfficeBlackTheme\blacktheme.reg
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\WINWORD.EXE"
regedit.exe /S C:\Customizations\OfficeBlackTheme\blacktheme.reg

The third file is a vbs file so I do not get the flash of a black command window when I open an office program. Once again this is specific to the Office Program, and you need to make one of these for each and every Office program you wish to open. To follow the above example with Word I call this Word.vbs

Dim WinScriptHost
Set WinScriptHost = CreateObject("WScript.Shell")
WinScriptHost.Run Chr(34) & "C:\Customizations\OfficeBlackTheme\word.cmd" & Chr(34), 0
Set WinScriptHost = Nothing

I saved these files in C:\Customizations\OfficeBlackTheme

If you do this for all of your MS Office Programs you folder will look similar to this:

Once you have all your files made right click on Word in your Start Menu, and select Open File Location. Select Properties on the Word shortcut, and replace the target with the path to the vbs file. You must do this for each, and every Office Program. NOTE: This does not work with Access so don't waste your time trying to change it to a Black Theme. When you are finished, and you open a MS Word or other document it will have a Black Theme. If you are using an Insider Preview of Office this will not change the document portion of Word to black, but everything else will be black. All other Office programs will be black throughout.

As this does not work if you click on a shortcut to any Office document, or a file, but ONLY if you open the actual program itself I do have one extra file called OfficeBlackThemeRegEdit.cmd.

regedit.exe /S C:\Customizations\OfficeBlackTheme\blacktheme.reg

You can place a shortcut to this on your desktop or taskbar, and run it before you open a file or shortcut. If you never open a document this way, then don't worry about it.

Thanks Dhjohns,
I think there's been a miss understanding, probably the way I worded my reply. Thanks for all the info though. My problem is when I use this theme it turns excel sheets and word black and I was hoping to keep them white. If I could figure out how to post a screen shot I would show you. Ahh got it:Smile:, see what I mean, appreciate the help.

You'd have to change some properties in Windows Style Builder, best option is to use a theme with light backgrounds http://virtualcustoms.net/showthread.php/74020-Consolidated-for-Windows-10-Anniversary-Update

Thanks Shemhamforash,
That version works great, unfortunately I'm not too good with style builder/code or anything else. Hell, I have a hard time following instructions on how to install the themes even with step by steps!!!!!!!!!! I think I'm a natural at using system restore because of all the times if bricked my system.:ashamed:However, learning more and more from fine sites like this, I really appreciate all the hard work that all you theme builders do and the fact that your all willing to share your hard work with guys like me. Its awesome to be able to enjoy the many looks that you all come up with.
Cheers mate.
