You're missing a digit, it should be 14393.187. Any 1607 build should work with anniversary update themes, and no it's known as "RS1"

I installed this theme and it is great but it is a little difficult to tell what has been selected, is there any way that could be made more visible?

Also my Win10 icon in winver does not look like yours, was that patched separately?

I'm working on a new version that will show selected content different
Winver image is a custom image that will be included in the icon pack update but

can you post a screenshot or 2 of what you're getting. as for system transparency pretty sure i pulled that either out of this theme or one of gsw's other themes, so should be fine.

As you can see when system accent color is set at stock windows blue the theme behaves fine, once I change to a gray to be more matchy it glitches out.
I am no pro at themeing and rely solely on the work of this community and appreciate all help, maybe I am doing something wrong. Thanks!

I have no idea why his is setting to blue,the .theme file is coded to be black which makes the window frames black and the other system colors dark grey.At least
on my system here it does.What does it do when you apply it?

Here is how it looks on my system

The top frames are a bit grey, it goes away after disabling Aero Glass (using the 669 beta). Tried also with Meld, same thing with the top frame being a bit grey and less black.
Other than that all the themes look the same regarding action center and accent settings. On TH2 there were a few themes that would change the please wait or shutting down background color, the same themes don't seem to be changing those colors on RS1 (all the backgrounds are black instead of blue).

I wonder if EdTeach1680 (http://virtualcustoms.net/member.php/176372-EdTeach1680) problem could be something related to Winaero Tweaker and choosing custom colors?

you may be on to something here, i personally never touch custom colors in any of the apps including windows itself for fear of screwing up the look that was intended for the theme.

For clarification the only mods I am running are what is outlined in this thread minus aeroglass as I can never get it to work right for some reason and old new explorer. For transparencies I am using the system transparency .exe that you were so kind to give me a link to. I am changing the color in windows' built in utility.

i'm out of ideas then. only thing left that i can think of is switch versions as there are two if you haven't tried this yet or switch back to the default theme, restart windows, then try the theme again.

I did delete the second theme from the pack as I was not using it and I did run this program I was linked to that disables the windows lockscreen so I wonder if either of those did anything to it?

Still no luck. I removed that disable lock screen program and now my lock screen is back! I have tried to disable it in regedit and gpedit.msc and it still refuses to die!!!!!

So now I have a lock screen and every time I log in I get that damn blue windows title bar.

I also ran the registry hacks for DWM Black Color.reg and RemoveDefaultColors.reg which mr grim provided in his original win10 theme thread. Is it possible they are not compatible with rs1 and causing the issue? I'll copy the text of the files so someone that knows what they are doing can take a look at them.

Managed to solve the lockscreen issue, merc'd that sucker!
But every time I log in to windows it still resets my titlebars to the default blue.

I can't figure out if it is because:
1) I deleted the entire DefaultColors folder from the registry instead of just the DefaultColors\Standard subfolder and have no idea how to restore it.
2) The theme itself might have some issue.
3) Because I only used UltraUXThemePatcher, I seem to remember there being a second theme hack program used to hack windows 10 themes in Mr Grims initial win10 theme hack thread.
or 4) I have my computer set to use accent color as the logon screen's background instead of a picture. Not sure how that could be the issue but it is something.

I seem to have the same problem as EdTeach1680 (http://virtualcustoms.net/member.php/176372-EdTeach1680) but it is not limited to this theme.

When i switch to any theme that i have, the accent colour automatically switches to blue even if i change it manually to grey before loading any theme.

So with themes such as this one, changing the accent colour after loading the theme breaks the titlebar

Okay now I have it, here is a complete guide, if you have already applied it then first remove it with the following registry setting.

Now you need to restart Explorer

Now open Settings > Personalization > Colors

Now apply the registry settings with the following. (Set the PersonalColors_Background rgb to what ever you prefer)

Now in Settings > Personalization > Colors pick the color you want for your tiles, it should stick on the first color you pick and you will not be able to change it again.

Now go back to Control Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Personalization\Color and set the border color for your theme, or just reapply the theme.

If you want it Black then remove the # from the registry setting, apply the registry settings and restart explorer.

one last thing if you can spare the time is the titlebar buttons, is it possible to have them reverted to the windows default in the theme so they blend in with the titlebar and highlight when you hoover over them? having the 3 grey boxes there looks a bit out of place.

1. Usually when you hold down CTRL and scroll with your mouse the items in a folder is supposed to change according to the view menu. with this theme activate i cannot use this function, i have to right click inside the folder and choose from the view menu manually.

I would assume this is because the file explorer command bar is removed so it might have removed some functions as well.
I can fix this specific problem by enabling the ribbon in oldnewexplorer but then i have the white ribbon bar on top of the file explorer windows all the time which is a bit ugly >.<

hmm,I don't have the line there,it is down farther like in the original theme .But yes I will make it darker.
I will see about using the default caption buttons too.

Yeah i did enable glass on nav bar so now it moved down on the file explorer windows.

Did you make the line in the titlebar darker though? it's still very bright for me.
