I try to change the color of the Windows Explorer background, and i dont know how to keep the other one, on the bottom, untouched
As you can see in the attached printscreen, there are 2 different grey colors. If i select a color for the explorer background, both those 2 grey colors are the same, and the separator line is gone
Would you please help me ?
I attached the visual style, also
Thank you in advance

If u just want a solid color for the background of the explorer, I suggest u delete the images (Items View) and only change the background color property (Fillcolor)

76842

> Explorer & Shell > Explorer > Items View > Items View > FillColor (main window)
> Explorer & Shell > Explorer > Proper Tree > Background - fillcolorhint : color (Left panel)

Modified your theme & re uploaded it ..see if this helps...from what i got from your post, you are looking for something like this:

76843

change the fill color as shown in the screenie to your liking. it's under-
Explorer & Shell > Explorer > Items View > ItemsView
you had an image in there, which i deleted..if it is intended to be the explorer background you should rather put it under-
Explorer & Shell > Explorer > Items View > ItemsView > Folder background
also uncheck the transparent checkbox under-
Explorer & Shell > Explorer > PreviewPane > Details Background > Horizontal

Modified theme(includes rs1 shellstyle.dll):
76844
btw.. i didnt get any errors at all while testing...also .. nice looking theme.. very clean

Thanks a million, devillnside
Did you take the printscreen under Windows 7, right ??
By the way : is there somewhere an option to remove the animated fonts, on the bottom ? ( attached image )

not that i know of..
although
you could try to set the text color to be the same as the details pane color & maybe the text wont be evidently visible against the background
Go to
Explorer & Shell > Explorer > PreviewPane >
and change the Textcolor properties under
filename
attribute name
atrribute value
metadata label
metadata control value
to match the color of your details pane..maybe it will then not be visible aqainst the background.....

I'm not saying this will work cuz i actually dont know.. just had an idea so you can try & see if it does work

also.. abt the sceenshot.. i took it on windows 10 of course ..print screen then paste in photoshop

I'm not at home right now, but I will attach a print screen with my visual style
It doesn't look like your, and I am using Windows 10 also
And by the way, how could I make the custom buttons a little bit bigger?
I feel very frustrated, with Windows 7 it was way easier to work with Windows style builder, now it's seems to be everything complicated, some locations are missing, etc

Here is a print screen with the same theme
Those black bars, above, aren't grey as yours
How did you manage to have it like under Windows 7, all those options ??
Organize
Properties
System properties
Uninstall or change a program
Map network drive
Open Settings

Custom Class Maps change with Windows versions.

download these custom class maps to edit and import styles and themes for Windows 10 (by MrGrim boss.)
just copy the respective classes to your WSB and you can edit your themes neatly.

YW,just make sure to make 3 copies of your WSB so u can try 7 to 10 RS1, 8 to 10 RS1 or 10 TH to 10 RS1 (to save time and test themes faster)

the grey navigation bar is done using Old New Explorer aka ONE.. without it the navbar doesn't apply on windows 10
you can get ONE here:
