Help to install the Black10 v2 theme of gsw953

Hello,

I have try to install the theme of gsw953 : http://virtualcustoms.net/showthread.php/76841-Black10-v2-for-Window-10-RS-2-Update

I follow all the instructions given :
- Install Ultra UXtheme Patcher 3.2.0 successfully. (then reboot PC)
- Install Old New Explorer.
- Copy the files into the Theme's folder.
- Change the Theme into v2

Then here's the result.

As you can see :

- I've got the Version 1703 of Windows.
- The background has changed successfully.
- But the window of explorer stay in white.


Could you help me to resolve this issue plz.

If you are trying to select the theme from the new Windows personalization menu the theme will not apply correctly, Go back to the Windows default theme, then try double clicking the .theme file from within Windows Explorer at C:\Windows\Resources\Themes.

I am also finding that some themes do not apply correctly if the location %SystemRoot% is present in the theme file, some themes apply better if it is changed to C:\Windows

I've try this too, but doesn't work for me.
NB: just for test, i've try some other theme from gsw953 and got the same issue with these themes. (red theme and owl in one)

all i did was startisback, oldnewexplorer, UltraUxThemePatcher, Add Clasic Appearance.reg, and drop the theme into the themes folder.

Ok i've done this.

After some differents tests, here's the new result.

There's still some part of windows explorer in white.


What's i've done :
- Uninstall UltraUxThemePatcher
- Install Theme Signature bypass
- Logoff
- Logon
- no changes ...
- go back to theme's folder and double clic on theme's file.
- got this result.

If i want to switch of theme, i've to do this all the time (except uninstall UltraUxThemePatcher)

Install OldNewExplorer with these settings to fix explorer. Settings is a modern app and can't be themed. You can set setttings to black in personalization.

TarekSkayv (http://virtualcustoms.net/member.php/314180-TarekSkayv) on the right side of your image that's not explorer. that is settings. for those dialog boxes/windows to be dark you will need to enable the built in dark theme in windows besides applying gsw953's theme.

now if you set up oldnewexplorer the way shem said you shouldn't have any white areas. to test this right chick pc and select properties and then take and post a screen of what it looks like.

i just tested with what i just quoted from myself above and i get the taskbar looking like this. i tried adding glass2k and didn't help. owl-in-one and meld-modded look perfect, so i really don't know.

I rarely use the top taskbar so I would say I didn't or forgot theme it :)

i never knew it was themed based on it's location. i always assumed that because it themed that it wasn't position specific like with the details pane or the command bar. i'll put it at the bottom and let you know what i get. thanks

I will fix it as soon I get a chance,I guess I shouldn't said I rarely use the top taskbar.
I use it that way every day on my main computer,which happens to be a Mac:cheeky:

nice, very nice. one think i wish we could port from mac is finder, SOOOOOO much better than explorer. now as for the theme for now i should be able to use the old theme and just replace the shell folder if i want to go back to my taskbar on top, right?

Yes,I think so,if it worked in top on Anniversary Update you should be able to just change the shell folder,although I have a had
to sometimes fix a few mirror things on a couple of themes
