Recommended Prior to Applying Custom Themes




:bulletred: Create a Restore Point
:bulletred: Install Fonts included in the "Extras" folder
:bulletred: Apply System Metrics included in the "Extras" folder and logout or reboot
:bulletred: Install an iPack of your choice to change the system icons (check the Theme Extras section above for a link to the icons in the preview)!
:bulletred: Select the Theme's Start Menu and Taskbar in the StartIsBack++ configuration. If it's not a visible option to select the theme's start menu, apply your custom theme first!
:bulletred: Copy a Start Orb from the "Theme" folder to a new location, rename it, then open the StartIsBack++ configuration, click Add... select the Start Orb and click Apply.

Hey bud, just wanted to let you know that your imports have a an issue with the aero peak controls for things like Media Player and Skype, this is probably partly my fault as some of the first examples I showed with the new parts added also contained this issue, I have made some new import script, style hacks and class maps to make it easier that I was going to upload, I mentioned then in chat some time ago but it seemed no one was interested at the time.

I just made a new thread for the updated WSB http://virtualcustoms.net/showthread.php/77991-Custom-import-scripts-for-Windows-10-RS1-Version-1607-1703

Not a huge deal, but if I were to try and fix this for my imported themes or RS3, how can I do it (I assume I have to move the SiB close window preview to the location in your new builds)?

Hi mate, yeah it's pretty simple if you use my new class maps you can see that all the properties have to be moved 2 locations down.

So start with the last one :Taskbar & System Tray > TaskBand > Aero > TaskBandExtendedUI > Thumbnails & Controls > RightControl (SiB LeftControl)" and coppy all the properties to "Taskbar & System Tray > TaskBand > Aero > TaskBandExtendedUI > Thumbnails & Controls > ScrollBar (SiB RightControl)"

Then copy "Taskbar & System Tray > TaskBand > Aero > TaskBandExtendedUI > Thumbnails & Controls > CenterControl (SiB LoneControl)" to "Taskbar & System Tray > TaskBand > Aero > TaskBandExtendedUI > Thumbnails & Controls > CloseCaption (SiB CenterControl)" and so on.

Just make sure that you remove any properties from those 2 locations first aside from the Width and Hight properties in Taskbar & System Tray > TaskBand > Aero > TaskBandExtendedUI > Thumbnails & Controls > CloseCaption (SiB CenterControl) these are still needed to set the size of the close caption button, if your unsure just have a look at some of the themes I just released.

Bud, I'm not sure, I have seen this one multiple times, here are few things for you to try:


Hide glyph icons in SiB++ settings
Hide user account picture in SiB++ settings
Set dpi to 100%
Install theme's fonts

Is it possible to mix and match Themes? I really like the Font and Sounds from this one, but wanted to use the looks from another one.

You should be able to copy the sounds over. For the fonts, not without editing the msstyles with Windows Style Builder (and some knowledge of where to find them).

Edit: You might get some of the fonts by applying the system metrics included with this theme and logging out and applying your other theme.
