THIS ONLY WORKS ON CLICK-TO-RUN -- THIS WORKS WITH 64 BIT AND 32 BIT C2R OFFICE AND 64 BIT AND 32 BIT WINDOWS

This is a portable application which will apply a Black Theme to C2R OFFICE programs. Every Office program (except Access) will open with the Black Theme no matter if you open the application, a saved document, or a shortcut to that document. Options are also included for each of the other color schemes in Office CLICK-TO-RUN. You must be running the CLICK-TO-RUN, and you must have Office installed before you use it. If you do NOT have Office CLICK-TO-RUN installed you will be presented with the EXIT dialog.

Thanks. A few of us on another forum are checking this out. It may work in 32 bit Windows and I know for a fact it works on 32 bit office. When all is done testing I will upload revised code.

I have a sintax error...
Done: 0, Modified 0, Failed 0, Syntax errors 1
Last Syntax Error:WARNING : /revoke=administrators : Error when checking arguments - HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common

The office gets black in the first oppened document, the next is already gray and so on. I have the last 2016 update...

Is that a solution for that?

Same error as other people mentioned above. Doesn't seem to work anymore :/Yea, this only works on Office 16 older versions. It is irrelevant now.

This no longer has any affect on the Office UI Theme... (if fully updated) The registry setting does no good, whether write protected or not. I was able to update office on one of my PCs (windows 7) to an earlier version, and the black theme is an option. On another pc, Windows 10 , rolling back the version, caused office apps to not open, had to do an online repair, which of course killed the possibility of getting the black theme. Microsoft is just as bad as ... well never mind. On a third PC, windows 10, office 16 version 1907 was able to keep the black theme with the registry setting ... hit and miss at best... It would seem to me there is a file somewhere that can be swapped out... I refuse to give microsoft any more money especially for office...

I just found this thread and the fix does nothing on Office 2016, same as the regurgitated manual registry hack.

Done: 1, Modified 1, Failed 0,Syntax Errors 0

It goes back to the same Common key that refuses to have it's permissions changed manually.
