Hello,

. I'm currently testing UbuntuMATE 17.10 on Oracle VM VirtualBox. So far it seems to be running fine without a hitch. Which is a surprise sine I'm on an AMD FX system lmao. I was actually surprised that it automatically loaded my 4k screen res without me having to install my dirvers or manually set that up. Most Linux distros have always required me to manually install my drivers for even a 1920x1080 screen resolution to load properly, but this one loaded straight into my 4k screen res upon booting up.

For now, I'm not seeing any problems at all, but I will keep this thread updated with anything I find as I continue testing this build.

I'm going to install this onto my laptop in a bit. Right now I'm running my recovery disc on my desktop to see if it fixes a Shell32 error message that I have been having for a while and still haven't been able to pinpoint.

All the Ubuntu 17.10 types have an issue with suspending, logging off and shutting down. I do not recommend them, they're buggy as hell.

I have given up on Ubuntu. I couldn't install arch or manjaro on my laptop until I used the net install mini iso for manjaro. So that's what's on my laptop now, manjaro mate, only really use my desktop now though which is win 10.
