Hello,

So I ported a couple of 7 themes to 8.1 It all came out well. However, there are 4 elements that won't change.

1 - The background on navigation pane on open/close/save dialogue of windows explorer.

I'm guessing this needs to link the images to shell32.dll with tha path in WSB Toolbars, Headers, & Rebar > Rebar > NavBar > Aero

2 - The Control panel backgrounds

This is how I tried to do it but no matter what I try, it won't change.

Can anyone please help me with this ?

Do you have installed OldNewExplorer?
Here do you have 2 images?

for Control Panel you need the right shellstyle.dll, take it from a theme that has those images and replace the shellstyle.dll in your ported theme, and open that theme in WSB to see the image properties on NavigationPane Background, ShineLayer etc.
