Startisback taskbar changes back to default after gaming

Hello,

I've had this issue for a awhile now where playing a random game in fullscreen after exiting the game my taskbar theme will be reverted back to the normal Windows 10 taskbar if that makes sense? Is there anyway to prevent this?

I seem to have the same problem, never really been able to fix it on its own, so after researching this problem i found that resetting explorer sorted things out, to do that open up 'Notepad.exe', then copy and paste this text:

@echo off
taskkill /f /im explorer.exe
start explorer.exe

and save to your desktop (or anywhere) with the extension .bat (instead of .txt), click it and it will restore explorer and your theme, well it works for me.
or you could download the .bat file i use as iv just uploaded it here http://www.mediafire.com/file/eimmszn7xg7eckr/Reload%20Explorer.bat.

This is for Windows 10, i assume it will work with any windows but don't qoute me on that. Let me know if it works. I have my .bat file pinned to my start menu for easy access.

Cool thanks! It would be great if it were possible to run this script after closing Kodi and closing out of a game. I'll let you know if it works.

I'm guessing a 178 other members don't have this problem or are Linux users.

It happens randomly. I can play on fullscreen game exit and then exit big picture mode and the taskbar theme is still applied. Play another game fullscreen exit/exit big picture mode and the taskbar theme is gone till I restart explorer/or re-apply the theme. It's really strange but I've had this problem since startisback was able to theme the taskbar on Windows 10.
