Thanks, I'm glad you liked and featured those themes. The HUD Red recolors were the most laborious of any theme I've done, the color of the background image would always change so I had to cut and paste each colored line of pixels as a new layer. You can see a bit of a green tint to the black part of the start menu in the green theme for example because it would have taken too long for me to do this process for all the start menu images.

Nowadays if I were to choose a HUD theme to use it would always be Machine.

PS. I made both the recolors for 7 and for 10. I didn't port the Windows 7 version because there was already a version of HUD Red for Windows 8.1. I'm pretty sure I made the theme in a VM for Windows 8.1 and then ported it to W10 TH2.

yes because HUD and HUD Machine is not the same but the different theme
and if is possible to creating HUD light blue version i think you need to contact the original theme author Mr GRiM (http://virtualcustoms.net/member.php?u=1)

I was thinking the very same thing as the shade of blue in this light version is more of a CYAN colour. Fingers crossed for the Hud Machine to come soon. I did see somewhere on VC there was a ROG version of the hud and I am still using it atm but with firefox the top right where the minimise and close tabs are they are white. So i tried these HUDs and the firefox is back to dark tabs again. Pics below are of the ROG version of the HUD I soo dearly want updated :eagerness:

Hello again forum.
I'm currently on Win 10 1809 and soon 1903+ so the HUD Machine versions I used no longer work.
Although 4 variations of the HUD Machine series are now available for 1809, it's the normal versions (where text editors and etc. have a dark background colour and blue forecolour.)

Unfortunately I can't use these - I need to "light" versions of these themes in order to be able to work.

I had purchased the HUD Machine Series back in the day, and although these themes are now free, I'd be willing to give 100 euro to purchase them again the second the "light" versions of them are available. :happy:

You could make "light" versions of the HUD Machine Series available for purchase alongside with the free normal versions, or I'd also be very happy to freely donate the full 100 euros if there existed a complete light series :loving:
(By complete I mean "Light" versions of all the different colours of the HUD Machine themes)

As for now, it's a sad day indeed, as my newly updated windows is left without a skin :(
I'm also open to suggestions if there are any other light themes by any creator that resemble even vaguely the HUD Machine Blue Light theme for Win 10 1809

A "Light" version of a theme is basically, whilst keeping everything else the same, black frames, dark panels, etc., and blue/green/red/etc text colour on Windows Explorer and such, when opening Notepad, Wordpad, MS Word, or any text-related programme, the programme's appearance inside is not changed.

So, if I am with the Default windows theme (or a "Light" version) and run MS Word, Word will have a white back-colour and black text (fore-colour).
Now, if I were to apply HUD Machine Blue, MS Word will have a dark back-colour and a blue fore-colour. What I see on screen now is NOT what word should look like, and equally importantly, it's now what I will see if I print the page.
In other words, the "light" version is the whole essence of the Theme throughout windows, so long as it doesn't affect the inside-appearance of any programme.
As far as I'm concerned, this is the best of both worlds.

A "Light" version of a theme is basically, whilst keeping everything else the same, black frames, dark panels, etc., and blue/green/red/etc text colour on Windows Explorer and such, when opening Notepad, Wordpad, MS Word, or any text-related programme, the programme's appearance inside is not changed.

So, if I am with the Default windows theme (or a "Light" version) and run MS Word, Word will have a white back-colour and black text (fore-colour).
Now, if I were to apply HUD Machine Blue, MS Word will have a dark back-colour and a blue fore-colour. What I see on screen now is NOT what word should look like, and equally importantly, it's now what I will see if I print the page.

Okay, so these do indeed work with newest windows.
Thank you for pointing this out, and thank you to "@Dark Knight" for porting them.
However, only about half of them include a "light" version. I'd really like to have the whole series.

To begin with, I've donated 20$ (Receipt number: 8WS75907EC424611S), because I really like them and good work should be compensated.
I'll donate more (up to 100), or buy if a purchase is available, the light version of the rest of the themes in the HUD Machine Series.

Heck, I'll donate more next month just because you guys are awesome and I've been using the HUD Machine Series for years now.

P.S. If you could only do 1 light version, do the "Aqua" one. This is the theme I've always wanted to rock, but it never had a light version so I never have been able to.
