StartIsBack now has Taskbar Perks, which allows advanced tweaks as:
- Center taskbar icons

- Segmented taskbar

- Dynamically clear taskbar

Plus there are additional taskbar icon tweaks available.

Known issues:

- Locked segmented taskbar may glitch

- 19H1 is not supported

Help how to set icons in the middle of the bar

I am using build 18290 so this may be why it does not work for me, but theoretically you would open control panel then click on start menu. Go to appearance, and at the bottom is Customize Taskbar Perks. There is a check box, click OK, then apply. This is beta so it may not work.

I am on 1809 and the beta and all taskbar perks all are working flawlessly.

Open your start menu then right click on an empty spot on the start menu and select "Properties", this will open the StartIsBack++ settings, click on "Appearance" on the left side and follow the screen shots below.

No, dhjohns may be right, it may not be working, I assumed it worked because I know for a fact the other two settings work, it's just that I always center my taskbar icons manually and I could have swore when I set the setting that I saw them move a little, just tried it again and no movement.

My have to wait for the final.

Obviously a software glitch, like I said, it's only a beta so there are some issues still to be worked out.

I have posted a note over at Tihly's beta channel over at MSFN to let him know.

The problem is with 3rd party themes that use content margins in Taskbar & System Tray > TaskBand > Aero > TaskBand > BackgroundBottom, if you delete that property it works but for me it didn't look good without that content margin.

Taskbar & System Tray > TaskBand > Aero > TaskBand > BackgroundBottom >

Select the property CONTENTMARGINS:MARGINS

in the ribbon up top there is a delete button right where the import & exports buttons are.. with the property CONTENTMARGINS:MARGINS selected .. hit that delete button..

repeat the same process @
Taskbar & System Tray > TaskBand > Aero > TaskBand (SmallIcons) > BackgroundBottom
if you intend to use small icons taskbar

81033 Thanks for this dhjohns, I'm running this Beta version right now and I love the new tweaks there really cool and can't wait for the final release it looks Great, but I have noticed a couple of things still unchanged like in the start panel with the glymps they have a red tinge to them and an Icon appears in the off button, I hope they can sort that out it would be great :Peace:Cheerz

bro help.. i just updated my OS to RS5 1809 build, icons are not working with msi themes T_T OK so if you had them installed before your update you may have to uninstall them from Control Panel Programs Before you try Installing them again this happened to me when I updated to 1809. I was using an I pack , I don't use 7tsp .but uninstall them first so you have your Default Icons Back Before you re-install the old ones so you can use the app to set a restore point.
