database error?

Yeah I know guys, this is something new, the session table keeps filling up, it is meant to be on an hourly clean up and that seems to be working but the number of sessions is too much for the hourly cleanup to deal with, seems like an attack on the site of some kind.

Look at the guest number, over 5000, this is not normal.

ah kk makes sense, and no worries mate, just was wondering what was going on. it was weird i'ld have the error on chrome then i'ld try a different browser and it'ld go threw (lucky timming throwing me off) lol so anyway was a bit confused ;)

Seems like this attack is coming from China, for now I will try to block all traffic from china and see how we go.

Looks like that may have worked, the number of guests is decreasing rapidly, now the hourly session cleanup should be able to keep up.

It's a shame as I really didn't want to block China but this is the sort of thing that seems to come from there a lot.

Last month Y updated my Malwarebytes: They blocked access to VC because "the web is a malware", so I had to add VC link as exclusion.

Malwarebutes never had blocked the access to VC before ... :worried:

yes i think when changed FORUM TAB link as http://virtualcustoms.net (http://virtualcustoms.net/) this resolve this problem

idk i was getting the issue no matter what link i clicked on (sometimes) but yes at other times it seemed to be only when clicking "forum" button.

though now it seems to be fixed for all buttons ;)

I too was getting the error for a couple of days also.
Kind of figured there was a traffic issue going on, usually when you get those types of errors on one specific site and others work the server(s) are usually overloaded with traffic for that site.

I know you hated to block China GRiM but these days there is just so much nefarious doings coming out of China.

Only way to get the new posts is through the Activity tab. I have tried flushing the cache, logging out and back in with no luck.

I am from China. I am very sad that I have been unable to access virtualcustoms in recent months. I know that GRiM has blocked China!
Websites like virtualcustoms are rarely known in China. I believe there will be no attacks. After all, there are a lot of websites in China!
But our access to virtualcustoms is very slow, sometimes it needs to be refreshed a few times, which may cause redundant requests. This action is similar to an attack!
I hope that GRiM can optimize the server or replace it better! Thanks!
