Info for the people with older hardware like me:

I Have an Asus Crosshair V mainboard with native USB 2.0 controller and a separate ASMedia USB 3.0 controller.
The change of the icon works only for devices connected on the USB 2.0 ports.
On USB 3.0 it's still the ugly new icon. I tried to find it, but no way. :crying:

Create a desktop shortcut for the drive you want to change the icon on and then right click it go to properties and then change icon, there you will see where the icon is located and then you can change it.
