Taskbar icons and .res files fixed for Stankfiss (https://virtualcustoms.net/member.php/312835-Stankfiss)
Here is my friend 7tsp and 2 images where is the problem
1.first you need using Multi-sized images no only 256x256 pixels
taskbar not supported images only in the 256x256 quality

2.never save .res files with MUI , Version , Manifest .etc folders
only with replaced Icon = Ico images
all images ported to Multi-sized quality and removed other not replaced folders
pnidui.dll.res = Network and Internet access
SndVolSSO.dll.mun.res = Speakers
stopject.dll.mun.res = Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media

yes all is possible but first

1.you need download my .res files and extract all .ico icons
2.porting all .ico icons to PNG
3.recoloring one by one
4.porting all PNG back to .ico = Multi-sized .ico format
5.replace all .res files and save
6.create a new 7tsp icon pack with blue icons
7.patching your system with new ones

Hi Moon, Great Work I always wanted to change the color of these, Question = Are the Changes permanent for the System or just to the theme ? So if I change them to red and swap themes say from a red to a green will they remain red? Also is there a way to change the color of the Notifications Icon to ?

Thanks for that Moonique, I have to learn how to use 7Tsp for changing Icons Ive always used Ipack exe's to change my Icons from the time I started Theming here nearly 2 yrs :ashamed:

yes but i think Ipack is for beginners because know replace only some .res and .exe files
7tsp is really different because you can add theme file custom start orb , sounds and many other
7tsp know replace special files and all .dll and .res files in system directory
ony 7tsp know replace shell32.dll , explorer.exe and now all of the .mun files
and yes you can run and mix more icon packs what you like or need
you can use custom pack and new without restore to default
but if you need default just run restore back before 7tsp was used
7tsp create every patching a new backup
if you patching your system 100x and use restore before 7tsp was use 7tsp know all backups and restore your windows before 7tsp was first used

Open 7tsp GUI and click Add a 7tsp Taskbar Icons Red w10 20h1 20h2
Click on Start Patching

i am testing some Icon Packs and other system files here and i need to create a system patcher to run some 3rd party themes

then you can try this step i think this can resolve your problem
before using 7tsp go to the C:\Windows\SystemResources directory
and take ownership SndVolSSO.dll.mun manually
go to the C:\Windows\System32 directory
and take ownership pnidui.dll manually
run 7tsp and use your icon pack
after restart run Reload Icons GUI and reload your Icon Cache

here is your Icon Pack and if you are using different Language as EN-US
then you can save all of your .res files with NEUTRAL Hex Language ID 0x0000

It is not deselectable.

Hello,
I tried but found no way.


The files:
-pnidui.dll
-SndVolSSO.dll.mun
-stopject.dll.mun


they are patched correctly by 7tsp GUI.


However, only the stopject.dll.mun icon is seen correctly in the taskbar, while the volume and wifi icons in the taskbar are not changed (I repeat: the icons in the files are correctly modified but then windows loads its white icons !!!! ????)




Is there a way to patcharle ????
