Transparency with Black Glass Enhanced

Why in some themes (for example Onyx X from Devilinside) the explorer window is with Black Glass Enhanced only transparent in the tree view side, the right side is opaque?
Any help to change this would be nice.

I don't know about this theme but when I create my own themes , I may use full opaque background for main explorer window or treeview panel so I guess this is the same for this one and BGE can't make the opaque part transparent... depends on what author wants to get as final result.

it's opaque because there is a texture there... black glass enhanced can make transparent the background when the background itself is a fill colour ... but here i've used a image file hence your problem...

if you wanna fix this then you have to remove these properties @ Explorer & Shell > Explorer > Items View > ItemsView > Folder background & @ Windows 10 Dark Mode > Explorer > Items View > ItemsView > Folder background:
