DLL files disappearing

I have been geting dll files vanishing for a while, usually it will be shellstyle.dll in my theme folder as i am using WSB i notice uifile mods are not working then i see the whole folder SHELL has vanished which contains the shellstyle.dll.

So far I have removed BitDefender and attempted to disable windows defender which is particularly stubborn to completely disable. (it usually reappears enabled after reboot)

I suspected window defender of this, so i ran the utility too see if it was quarantined somehow. C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows Defender\Platform\4.18.2004.5-0>MpCmdRun -Restore -ListAll

Ive recently lost my uifile and it is really annoying because i dont have a back up and it took hours upon hours to create the uifile originally. :(

Has anyone had a similar experience or know a work around / resolution?

i found the culprit, Vista style builder. A long suffered issue solved again :)

As if ui file editing in the shellstyle wasnt difficult enough.

This thing has been hampering my progress to the point I ghave up with uifiles.

All i do is set a write block on the retched VSB and all Working.
