editing a windows 10 theme

Hi guys,

I am trying to edit a few basic items for a theme that runs on windows 10 ver 1909 using win 7 style builder. whenever i change even just a color and test the theme, it says the win 7 style builder stopped working. if i save it wihtout testing and apply it, the theme breaks and doesnt work. am i doing something wrong?
i am on windows 10 ver 1909.

what theme are you working on and is it a windows 7 theme or windows 10 theme
