I have noticed 7tsp packs have been getting bigger and bigger in size.
This is because some res editors leave old data inside the res files after modifying and saving them.
This tool rebuilds all res files from a resources folder so they are clean of any rest data

And my system doesn't let me install any of my programs if I disabled automatic updates so clearly turning off updates is a major red flag for me.

hello and i see on your picture you are using a two different Icon Packs on your system
Tech Icon Pack and Jarvis Icon Pack
i recommend to you set your icons to default before using different icon pack
just open 7tsp GUI as Administrator
click on Restore/Restore modified system files to before 7tsp was used
restart your pc run 7tsp again as Administrator
this take ownership all locked files before patching
now you can using 7tsp Jarvis Icon Pack without any problems
and on your system missing Start is back

Combine taskbar buttons
Taskbar icon size / mergins
if this help to you or you can try rebuild your Icon cache
i think your Google Chome Icon is bigger as the others pinned to your taskbar

all files can be downloaded separately
if you like only the theme just download only the theme file
you can run this theme without any problem if some extras not be used

Explorer did not change, sounds did not change, cursor did not change, taskbar did not change (except the orb). This was after installing the file and rebooting. Did I miss something? Thanks! =).

Theme Tool is for win11 judging by the threadtitle, which is probably why the options are greyed out. Personally I've only used UltraUXThemePatcher (https://mhoefs.eu/software_uxtheme.php?ref=syssel&lang=en), so I don't know how the Theme Signature Bypass from the linked thread works.

Might be a better idea to ask in the threads of those tools instead of here - I'm merely a user and don't know anything about those tools I've never used.

So, the old explorer file was the only file I was missing. I installed this according to the thread about tools needed for themes to no avail. I ran the .exe and the window pictured in the thread about tools poped up with an active uninstall button, to my surprise. I clicked and then the install button was active. I clicked it and nothing happened. I rebooted my machine and my explorer windows did not change (to the Jarvis theme). Now what did I miss? Thanks! =).

hello and what theme patcher you are using?
if you are using aero glass please uninstall this appl first
restart your pc and try to apply windows default theme if this problem persist
if yes just update your graphic driver or please check if is your system using 100% DPI scaling
