i think this can be a problem with your custom theme file
i cant help you because i dont using Windows 10 anymore
i am using mix of Windows 11 IoT Enterprise 22h2 and Windows Server 2022 22h2 Datacenter
because Intel Core i9-12900KS not works good on Windows 10
only Windows 11 and Windows Server 2022 supports Intel Thread Director for the Intel 12th Gen

Sorry, I don't have a account of the forum and this is not a big problem.
As shown below GIF, It's till have this little flash with the win 10 default theme, dark or light mode, which is particularly obvious on a dark background, but if the transparency of the theme tab page is closed, there is no.

I was wondering if it was possible to override a visual style's task bar color on start is back. I'm currently using DEMO by niivu for my vs and it set the taskbar to a dark blue. I want to change the color but I can't without changing the task bar style. Anyone know how to fix it?

Am I the only one that gets into an endless loop of Explorer crashes + error messages when installing this update?

I was on 2.9.16 before since .18 had that annoying bug. When I used this new one to update this morning it installed, then explorer.exe kept crashing with an error message (I forgot the exact wording, sorry), crash/error/repeat and I couldn't stop it.
I had to use Ctrl+Alt+Del to open Task Manager, start a new explorer process, navigate to and install my old .16 version and then use "end process" for the crashing explorer.exe.

Pretty scary tbh :worried:

I doubt that's it, I never had issues before and nothing changed on my system. I'll just wait for the next update and will stay on 2.9.17 until then, esp. since there's no way to backup/restore all StartIsBack settings.

Thanks for the information ... maybe I'll try again next week when I update Windows and have to restart anyway.

Although ... how did you even restart? When I had the error I didn't a have taskbar or start menu, Alt+Tab wasn't working either. Or did you restart through Ctrl+Alt+Delete?

Idk, .17 works fine and I doubt there were any major changes in .19? Guess it all depends on how brave I am next week lol ... thanks again :icon_smile:
