Customization guide for Windows 10? (

I'm new around here, recently stumbled on an old bookmark I used to customize my old laptop.

Many thanks! Also, what would be the best place to look for suitable themes? Right now I'm looking through "Themes for Windows 10 May 2019 Update (Version 1903)" however my OS-version is 19041.450 so dunno really...

Many thanks! I was actually just looking through that and decided to give the HUD Machine Corps theme a go since I also have the ipack for it. For some reason I don't think OldNewExplorer is working though, since I'm just seeing the standard unchanged white/black... trying to figure out if I missed something. I've never had any problems on my other Win 8.1 laptop, so really dunno what I did wrong here ^^

Edit: Aaaand Startisback isn't working either. Le sigh.

if you have problem with the white areas in your Explorer then you are using outdated themes for your os
download the correct themes for your OS build and please do not use iPack icon packs if you are on w10 19h1+

Also here's a screenshot of my Windows specs. I keep seeing stuff like 21h1 etc in theme threads, and I have no idea what that refers to.

I'm open to suggestions for what themes/icons work best with my specs, and also if there's anything I should absolutely avoid...

you need to remove your default colors just use this .reg file

Quick question: I keep having problems with themes turning the background colours for Word docs and Powerpoints from standard white to black, which is super annoying. Is this a known issue? Does anyone have a workaround?

hello and you can try to change your default theme colors with Windows Style Builder here
