I shall be ignoring Win11 until at least some of your themes and StartIsBack have been updated to work on 11 ... I'm not interested in a yucky white UI *polishes halo*.

Thanks for the post though, I'm sure lots of user want to experiment :icon_cool:

I have been told that most of the better features are not included in this build and will not be included until after the official announcement is made on the 24th and also that this is a "leaked" build.
Should anyone decide to install this, do so at your own risk, install in a VM or on a machine not used for everyday use because there WILL be bugs.
If you install this on you main system and something devastating happens Microsoft will lend you no support whatsoever to fix it because this build has not been officially released yet, not even to insiders.

Smart money says unless you absolutely know what you are doing that it would be better to hold off installing this until after the announcement is made on the 24th and the official release is released to the DEV channel for Windows Insiders

I am not implying that there is something wrong with Moons copy, just implying that this is an unofficial copy.

Hello

Unable to install Windows 11 due to ‘SecureBoot’ and/or ‘TPM 2.0’ errors?

because Windows 11 do not support the older motherboards without UEFI mode (secure boot disabled)
and without TPM - Trusted Platform Module (TPM, also known as ISO/IEC 11889)
if your motherboard do not support UEFI mode and TPM you cant run Windows 11 in the future

All I can say is MS better get rid of the TPM and Secure Boot enforcement by the time this makes it to the official release because I can't afford to buy a new PC to make this shite work. And I refuse to stick with Windows 10's garbage after they shelf it.

My current Windows 11 build used this hack and is crashing freezing and generally refusing to work. I'm being forced to fresh install Windows 10 via the Media Creation Tool to get this off my PC.

I got it from here: GitHub - daviiid99/Windows-11-MOD: Windows 11 ISO patched to bypass TPM 2.0 or Security Boot checks (https://github.com/daviiid99/Windows-11-MOD)

So might just be a bad installer but not willing to risk this again until MS officially removes this BS enforcement.

I tried that before using the fresh install. It refused to install since my PC doesn't have TPM or Secure Boot. My hardware is over 7 years old and Gigabyte never made that shite for my Mobo.

Found a way to get around the TPM and secure boot

Method 1: Modify Registry

The first method involves simply editing Windows Registry during the installation process of the new operating system. On unsupported devices, if you try to install the new OS, a message will appear on your screen stating that the computer isn’t compatible.
https://www.windowslatest.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/Cant-run-Windows-11-error.jpg
At that screen, you need to press Shift+F10 to open Command Prompt window and modify the registry. In Command Prompt, you need to run regedit.exe and create a new key “LabConfig” under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Setup. In the “LabConfig” key, create two new entries:

BypassTPMCheck=dword:00000001
BypassSecureBootCheck=dword:00000001

Save the changes and then hit the back arrow at the top left of the screen, then click next.. compatibility errors will disappear.
Otherwise, you can also create a .reg file with the following line of code:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Setup\LabConfig] “BypassTPMCheck”=dword:00000001 “BypassSecureBootCheck”=dword:00000001
Save this (.reg) file in a USB drive and perform a clean installation of Windows 11 when it is officially released. During the installation process, press Shift + F10 and type notepad and hit enter.
In Notepad, open the file menu and locate and apply the reg file. This will bypass the TPM+SecureBoot requirements.

Original reference found: You'll be able to bypass Windows 11 TPM 2.0 requirement (windowslatest.com) (https://www.windowslatest.com/2021/06/28/youll-be-able-to-bypass-windows-11-tpm-2-0-requirement/)

Monique, do I take it that the windows 11 versions of uxpatcher and perhaps startisback are in development and you're testing them? Cant wait to get my old themes back onto 11 (I used Hardwired Blue normally or Hud Machine Blue).. Looks good from what I see on your testing video. Cant wait til the test versions are ready to try.

because Windows 11 do not support the older motherboards without UEFI mode (secure boot disabled)
and without TPM - Trusted Platform Module (TPM, also known as ISO/IEC 11889)
if your motherboard do not support UEFI mode and TPM you cant run Windows 11 in the future

Technically not correct. It's more or less a line of code in the installer that checks for those and blocks the install if you don't have them. I managed to get Windows 11 up and running just fine on Legacy BIOS by using an installer made through replacing the install.wim file inside a Windows 10 ISO from the Media Creation Tool with the install.esd file from an official Windows 11 ISO.

Microsoft is basically just being an ass with Windows 11. The OS itself actually doesn't require Secure Boot or TPM at all. Microsoft has even openly admitted that they put that into the installer as a forced security measure. It's not required at all by the OS.

90029

90030

So far this is working miles better for me than Windows 10 ever has. I'm honestly feeling like Windows 11 is a massive improvement over Windows 10 and the only issue is that Microsoft forces unnecessary security measures in their installer for it. But once you get past those it's what Windows 10 should have been in my honest opinion.

Dev Channel
The Dev Channel is for highly technical users who love to be the first to see the latest features and updates for all things Windows.
It will get builds that are earliest in a development cycle with the latest work-in-progress code from our engineers.
These aren't always stable builds, and sometimes you will see issues that block key activities or require workarounds while flighting in this channel.
These builds aren't matched to a specific release, which means these may simply be the latest work-in-progress code from our engineers.
New features and OS improvements in this channel will show up in future Windows releases when they're ready
and we may deliver them as full OS build updates or servicing releases.
Your feedback here will help our engineers with major fixes and changes to the latest code.

Beta Channel
The Beta Channel is for early adopters and IT professionals who want to see what's next or validate the latest Windows updates and features
but still need reliable updates that are validated by Microsoft.
As a part of the Beta Channel, you'll be seeing builds tied to a specific upcoming release, like Windows 11
Your feedback will be especially important here, since it will help our engineers make sure that key issues are fixed before major releases.

Release Preview Channel
In the Release Preview Channel, Insiders and IT professionals get the upcoming version of Windows
before it's released to the world, with advanced quality updates and certain key features
These builds are also supported by Microsoft if you're in the

TPM is no requirement for Windows 11. It's only the setup that wants you to have it, and circumventing that (by exchanging the appraiserres.dll in your Win11 ISO with one of a Win10 ISO) has no negative effects whatsoever.

Dear friends! To avoid the TRM error, we take this file (sources \ appraiserres.dll) from the windows 10 image and replace it in the installation image along the way. Restart the installation and get a complete order with a system scan before installation. Question: who will share a fresh theme on windows 11?

Hello

Unable to install Windows 11 due to ‘SecureBoot’ and/or ‘TPM 2.0’ errors?

thank you றѳѳղղįqվદ® for the windows 11 link :loving:

i had the same problem as you, i downloaded win10 iso EN (19041.1.191206-1406.VB_RELEASE_CLIENTPRO_OEMRET_X64FRE_EN-US)from

https://uup.rg-adguard.net/
replace it install.wim & copy al to usb (format fat 32) and no problem

Hello, there is no iso in Spanish?

BypassTPMCheck=dword:00000001
BypassSecureBootCheck=dword:00000001
