Hello,
I'm in trouble because I just can't get the wifi and volume icons changed in the taskbar.

Could you please show me the procedure step by step?

(is it necessary for example to install SecureUxTheme or UltraUXTheme patcher to get the change?)

Thanks

SecureUxTheme tool and UltraUXTheme patcher do not have any effect on Icons
if you have problem with Icons then you can try to clear your Icon cache
90449
or you can try take ownership all files manually before patching
90448
but i think you have the same problem on your Windows 10 as on Windows 11

you can try to using my latest updated Icon pack for Windows 11
https://virtualcustoms.net/showthread.php/87646-7tsp-MSI-Dragon-Red-Icon-Pack-for-Windows-10-19h1-21h2-and-for-Windows-11 (https://virtualcustoms.net/showthread.php/87646-7tsp-MSI-Dragon-Red-Icon-Pack-for-Windows-10-19h1-21h2-and-for-Windows-11)
if this icon pack resolve your problem and finally change all of your taskbar icons to red
then you can replace all of mine original files to yours

In Windows 10 they load correctly;

in Windows 11 no.

The icons in the files in System Resources are actually changed but in the taskbar they are no.

Thanks

i can create some new tutorials how to customize new files after final release
because Windows 11 is still only in the insider preview release
Windows 11 is again really different as Windows 10
w11 using more of the new glyph icons new directories and IMAGE subfolders
old BMP bitmap images has now been changed as the new 32 bit PNG Images and some of the new .dll .cpl .mun files different as used in w10
some of the different icons you can find now in the new taskbar.dll file created specially for Windows 11
taskbar.dll file now include more moved files from explorer.exe , accessibilitycpl.dll .ect

I tried to see taskbar.dll and taskbarcpl.dll but I can't find the wifi and volume icons.

Ok: I will wait for the final release.

Thank you so much

Hello,
could you please tell me where are those icons to change for wifi and audio.

I looked in those files you pointed out to me last time but I couldn't find those icons.

What files or folders are they in?

Thanks:idk:

Hi,
I have seen that several tweaks have been put in for windows 11.

But there isn't 1 to change the icons for wifi and volume in taskbar or which files should I change anyway?

Thank you

Windows 11 used the new system tray icons
if you like old Windows 10 taskbar or volume , wifi and internet icons you need to Enable missing system tray icons

Thanks for the full explanation.

I think (for me) it goes much further.

My goal is more basic: to replace icons as it was done for windows 10.

I really think I'm leaving it alone, it seems more articulated to me.

Thanks
